Money Saving Websites

Christmas will be here before you know it! The Holiday's are a great time to get together and spend quality time with family and friends as well as show your appreciation for them... with gifts, of course!

I'm sure you know as well as I do that the Holiday's can be an expensive time of year, which is why I wanted to share a few of my favorite money-saving websites to help reduce the impact on your wallet this holiday season.

Sure, you could wait outside in the blistering cold on Black Friday for umpteen hours to get a great deal on a TV or Keurig Coffee Maker (it's on my list!)...but with these websites, you can buy some great gifts for a great price without having to get up at 3 am the day after Thanksgiving.

  • Groupon is among one of my favorite websites. It tailors deals to where you live and more and more businesses are finding out about it and partnering with Groupon to post awesome deals on their website. From massages to hot air balloon rides, you can always find a great gift for someone (or yourself!) for a great deal.
  • Pocket Your Dollars is a well-rounded website that will let you save on many things  including groceries for the holiday entertainer. The best part is, they print weekly shopping lists and let you know about the weekly deals going on at your local Cub Foods, Walgreens, Menards, and more! (Having Thanksgiving at your house? Check out the Cub Foods shopping list and save big on Thanksgiving dinner this year!)
  • Hip2Save provides loads of money-saving tips, online freebies and deals, and in-store bargains from free samples of products to great deals on DVDs.
  • Amazon Local is always being updated with deals on gift ideas and activities to do around your area.

Whether you are planning a Thanksgiving dinner or looking for gifts for anyone in the family, these websites should definitely be able to spark some gift ideas and save you a couple bucks along the way!
